Instagram Catch Up

I have been a horrible blogger lately. I haven’t abandoned you or the blog but I have just had a crazy past few months, the girls have been very disappointed in me.
To get back in to the swing of things, I thought I should first do a catch up of the last few months and I thought there was no better way than a quick Instagram catch up.
First, I have a new job as the Manager in Training at Anthropologie which I really enjoy but working in retail makes it hard to plan ahead for blog posts because of the varying hours, early mornings, and late nights.
Reasons #41 why I enjoy my job. Always yummy baked goods!
So other than the new job, what else has been new in my life?
For the most part, I have still been trying to adjust and find my way around this new city (and Apple maps have not been helping).
Luckily I have easily found my way to Five Guys which has become part of our weekly route.
I’ve been sending snail mail to my mom, sister, and grandma. It’s so fun to have pen pals again!
These turkeys are constantly slowing down my morning commute. It’s gotta be good luck to have a turkey cross your path right?
My (and Rosie’s) new favorite snack, Chime’s Ginger Chews.
New haircut (exciting I know).
We finally made it to the zoo, where I found true love.
We have been trying to find a mountain nearby to go snowboarding because I’ve been itching for some fresh powder.
Rosie and Ruby have spent their time sleeping hibernating,
begging for attention,
learning new tricks (“sit pretty”),
and overall just being their cute and loveable selves.
Jesse and I had our first Thanksgiving together as a married couple but we were not able to make it home because I had to work Black Friday (which was surprisingly not bad) so we celebrated just the two of us.
We put up the Christmas tree on Thanksgiving and so far it’s looking a little bare but I have big plans to buy out Target’s ornaments come the after Christmas sale.
We have been getting excited for the holidays and have (of course) ran in to that awkward moment when your wrapping paper is just shy of reaching and you have to slide a random piece under to hide the gap. Oh well, it’s inevitable!

Talk to you soon,
